The Monroe Township Road Department is dedicated to maintaining safe and accessible roads, bridges, and public pathways throughout our community. Our team is responsible for tasks including road repair and resurfacing, snow and ice removal, street signage, and drainage maintenance. We work year-round to ensure all travelways are safe, well-maintained, and accessible to all residents and visitors.

• Road maintenance and repair

• Snow and ice control

• Stormwater management

• Tree and debris removal on public roads

• Installation and maintenance of street signs and signals

Zoning Department

​

The Monroe Township Zoning Department oversees land use and development within the township, ensuring that all new construction, renovations, and land changes comply with local zoning regulations and ordinances. Our department is here to help residents, business owners, and developers understand zoning requirements, apply for necessary permits, and answer questions about property use.

• Zoning permit issuance and inspections

• Land use planning and regulation enforcement

• Review and approval of site plans

• Assistance with zoning and property line questions

• Residential - $.30 per square foot

• Commercial - $.60 per square foot

• Access Road/Culvert - $50

​

• Utility - $50

​

• Billboard - $250

​

• Zoning Variance/ Conditional Use - $350

All fees are non-refundable
